LORGAR gaming mice – wire and wireless

Number of products: 13

A mouse is chosen with your hand, not from a spec table. Shape and weight come first, because they decide whether your wrist is tired after three hours and whether you land the shot on a short movement. Sensor, polling rate and connection come after that. LORGAR mice use PixArt optical sensors and span both light symmetrical builds and heavier ergonomic ones, with the wireless versions connecting over a 2.4 GHz receiver, Bluetooth or a USB-C cable. Below the listing: a buying guide covering DPI, weight, grip, switches — and what the manufacturer does not state.

How to choose a gaming mouse

The order in which these decisions are worth making is the reverse of the order manufacturers list the specs. Start with your hand and finish with the numbers.

Shape and grip

LORGAR's range has two shape families. Symmetrical builds are narrower and lighter — they suit fingertip and claw grips, where the palm does not rest fully on the shell and the movement comes from the fingers and wrist. Right-handed ergonomic builds have contoured sides and a higher back, designed for a palm grip where the hand rests on the mouse and the whole forearm does the work.

There is no better choice here, only a better fit. If you don't know how you hold a mouse, look at your current one: the worn patches tell you more than the name of a grip style.

Weight

LORGAR divides mice into bands of its own: ultralight below 50 g, lightweight 50–70 g, standard 70–90 g, heavy above 90 g. The range spans several of those bands — from perforated shells, where material has been removed wherever it isn't needed, to heavier ergonomic models.

A lighter mouse starts and stops faster, which helps with quick target changes. A heavier one is steadier through slow, precise tracking and forgives a shaky hand. The difference between a build in the lightest band and one in the heaviest is obvious from the first minute — it is probably the spec you will feel most strongly of anything in the table.

Sensor and DPI

Every LORGAR mouse uses a PixArt optical sensor; the specific sensor is named on the product page along with the DPI range, maximum tracking speed (in inches per second) and maximum acceleration (in G).

One thing worth knowing: a higher DPI ceiling does not make a mouse better. Most players work somewhere between 400 and 1600 DPI and stay there regardless of what the mouse can do. High DPI values matter on high-resolution displays and for very fast, wrist-led play. In practice, maximum tracking speed and acceleration matter more than the ceiling — they tell you whether the sensor keeps up with the fastest movement you make, rather than losing the cursor.

Polling rate

The polling rate is how many times per second the mouse reports its position to the computer. 1000 Hz means once per millisecond and is the standard figure. Some LORGAR mice support higher modes — their benefit grows with your monitor's refresh rate and shrinks if you play at 60 Hz. Higher modes also put more load on the CPU. Check which steps a given model supports, and remember that the highest mode is not always available on every connection type.

Switches and rated lifespan

LORGAR's product pages give a declared button lifespan in millions of clicks, and in the higher series the switch brand as well. The number is a manufacturer's test declaration, not a guarantee — but the difference between 30 and 80 million clicks is a good indication of where a model sits in the range.

Connection

Wired mice have one cable and no decisions. LORGAR's wireless models work in three modes: the 2.4 GHz receiver (the gaming mode; the transmitter is in the box and on some models stows in a compartment in the base), Bluetooth (for a laptop or tablet, without occupying a port), and a USB-C cable that charges and carries the signal at once — so a flat battery does not end the session.

Feet

The underside of a mouse is a wear part. LORGAR uses PTFE feet and includes a spare set in the box, which is unusual at this price and genuinely extends the mouse's life: replacing the feet restores the glide without buying new hardware.

Software, and what we will not claim

Every LORGAR mouse works with LORGAR PLATFORM — a free application for Windows 10 and 11, shared across all the brand's devices. It sets DPI steps, polling rate, button functions, macros and lighting, plus profiles that switch automatically when a game is detected. The mouse itself works the moment you plug it in, with no drivers.

One honest note: LORGAR does not state onboard memory in its mouse specifications. So we will not claim your settings travel with the mouse to another computer without the app. If you plan to play on several machines — at LAN events, say — write to us before ordering: info@lorgar.pl.

Mice are also where LORGAR's link to the esports scene shows. The brand is official technical partner to three esports organisations and states that "their feedback comes back to us as product revisions — a closed loop between the scene and engineering."

Every mouse carries a 24-month manufacturer warranty, verified by serial number.

Frequently asked questions

How much DPI do I actually need?

Considerably less than the numbers on the box suggest. Most players set 400–1600 DPI and adjust the rest with in-game sensitivity. A higher ceiling helps on high-resolution displays; beyond that it is headroom, not an advantage.

Is a wireless mouse suitable for competitive play?

In 2.4 GHz mode, yes — that is why the receiver is in the box and why it is worth using instead of Bluetooth while gaming. Keep Bluetooth for work and mobile devices.

Can I play while the mouse is charging?

Yes. The USB-C cable charges and carries the signal at the same time.

Where do I put the 2.4 GHz receiver when travelling?

Some models have a compartment for the transmitter in the base — check the description of the mouse you are considering.

Light or heavy — which should I pick?

Light helps with fast target changes and long sessions; heavier gives stability through slow tracking. If you are torn between bands, start lighter: it is easier to get used to a light mouse than the other way round.

Are these mice suitable for left-handed users?

The symmetrical builds have a neutral shape, but LORGAR does not offer a mouse designed and described as left-handed, and the side buttons sit on the left. The ergonomic models are explicitly right-handed.

Do I have to install LORGAR PLATFORM?

No. The mouse works as soon as it is connected. PLATFORM adds DPI configuration, macros, game profiles and lighting synchronisation, and works only with LORGAR devices.

Will the mouse work on macOS or Linux?

LORGAR lists the supported operating systems on each model's specification — for the large majority that is Windows. We will not declare support for a system the manufacturer has not named; check the Parametry tab of the model you want.

How long will the switches last?

The manufacturer gives a declared button lifespan in millions of clicks on each product page. Independently of it, the 24-month warranty applies.

What is the warranty, and can I return a mouse?

24 months of manufacturer's warranty verified by serial number, and separately 2 years of liability for the goods' conformity with the contract. You have 14 days from receiving the parcel to return an order without giving a reason — the rules are in Complaints and returns, and payment methods and order terms in the Shop regulations.
