LORGAR gaming headphones with microphone
Number of products: 8With gaming headsets, what decides the purchase is how they connect and how they feel in the third hour — not the numbers in the table. Every LORGAR model shares the same base build: closed over-ear cups, 40 mm dynamic drivers, 20 Hz–20 kHz response and a retractable microphone. What they differ in is what you actually choose: the connection (3.5 mm minijack, USB, Bluetooth, or Bluetooth with a 2.4 GHz receiver), battery life, weight and earpad material. Below the listing: what "noise cancelling" really means here, and what to watch for on console compatibility.

How to choose a gaming headset
Start from what is shared
Several specifications in LORGAR's range are not a choice at all, because they do not change between models: every headset is closed and over-ear (the cups enclose the ear rather than resting on it), with a 40 mm dynamic driver, 20 Hz–20 kHz frequency response, 32 Ω impedance, stereo sound and a retractable microphone that stows in the left arm. So you do not need to compare those fields — compare the ones below.
Connection, the first real decision
Four connection types appear in the range, and they differ in purpose rather than quality:
- 3.5 mm minijack — the simplest and most universal. Works with anything that has a headphone output, needs no power and no drivers, and never disconnects.
- USB type A — a digital connection where the headset, not the computer's sound card, handles the audio processing. Needs a free USB port.
- Bluetooth — no cable and no port used; the Bluetooth version is given in each model's specification.
- Bluetooth plus a 2.4 GHz receiver in the box — the receiver goes into USB and that is the gaming mode; Bluetooth stays for your phone.
Some wireless models also include a 3.5 mm cable, so a flat battery does not end the session — plug in and keep playing. Check the box contents in the Parametry tab.
Battery life and weight — the two numbers that decide comfort
Declared runtime on LORGAR's wireless models reaches several dozen hours, with the exact figure listed on each one. In practice weight often matters more: the few dozen grams between the lightest and heaviest model is exactly the difference you feel on the crown of your head in the fourth hour. The wired USB models here tend to be heavier than the wireless ones — which is counter-intuitive, so check the figure rather than assuming.
Earpads
Two options. PU eco-leather isolates better from room noise and holds bass more firmly, but the ear warms up under it over a long session. Fabric breathes better and is more comfortable in summer, at the cost of some isolation. It is a choice between isolation and temperature, not between better and worse.
"Noise cancelling" — what it actually means here
Worth pausing on, because it is the most common misunderstanding when buying a gaming headset, and in LORGAR's catalogue it has an unambiguous answer.
The terms "Noise Cancelling" and noise reduction in LORGAR's headset descriptions refer to the microphone — that is, to stopping your teammates hearing your room, your fan or your keyboard. It is not active noise cancellation (ANC) for you, the listener. No LORGAR headset declares ANC.
Quiet on your side comes from the closed build and the seal of the earpads — passive isolation. It works well against mid and high frequencies (a conversation nearby, a keyboard) and much less well against low ones (traffic, air conditioning). If you are looking for headphones that silence noise while travelling, this is not that shelf, and we would rather say so than process a return.
Microphone and platform compatibility
The microphone on every model is retractable — it slides into the headband rather than detaching. You cannot put it in a drawer, but you cannot lose it either. Some models have a mute button and an indicator LED.
On console compatibility we only say what the manufacturer says. Some LORGAR models list console support explicitly in their description and some carry no such information at all — and a 3.5 mm or USB connector guarantees nothing by itself. If you are buying for a specific console, check the description of that model, and if in doubt write to info@lorgar.pl before ordering. That question costs us a minute and saves you shipping a parcel back.
Software and warranty
Some headsets work with LORGAR PLATFORM — a free application for Windows 10 and 11 where you set the RGB lighting, synchronise it with the rest of your LORGAR devices, check statistics and create game profiles. PLATFORM support is not shared across the whole category, so look for it in the "Oprogramowanie" field in the specification. The headsets themselves work without the app, from the moment you connect them.
Every headset carries a 24-month manufacturer warranty verified by serial number.
Frequently asked questions
Do these headsets have ANC and will they silence the noise around me?
No. "Noise cancelling" in LORGAR's descriptions refers to the microphone — to what other people hear. Quiet on your side comes from the closed build, i.e. passive isolation.
Wired or wireless?
For gaming at a desk at home the difference is small, and wired models need no charging and cost less. Wireless wins when you want to get up from the desk or use the headset with your phone too. Models with a 2.4 GHz receiver combine both.
What is the difference between 3.5 mm and USB?
The minijack is universal and works with any device that has a headphone output. USB is a digital connection where the processing happens in the headset, and it needs a free port on the computer.
Can I play once the battery runs out?
On models that include a 3.5 mm cable, yes. Box contents are in the Parametry tab.
Can the microphone be detached?
No, but it can be hidden — on every model it is retractable and stows in the headband.
Will the headset work with a PlayStation or Xbox?
Only some models list console support in their description; for the others the manufacturer does not publish that information, and the connector alone is no guarantee. Check the page of the model you want, or write to us before ordering.
Do I get 7.1 surround sound?
If a model supports it, that is stated in its description. It is not a feature shared across the category, so we do not claim it collectively.
Can the RGB lighting be switched off?
Some models have lighting and it is configurable — on models that support LORGAR PLATFORM you set it in the app.
How much do they weigh, and will they press?
Weight is in the Parametry tab of each model; the range spans a few dozen grams. On long sessions it is one of the more important specifications — alongside the earpad material.
What is the warranty, and can I return a headset?
24 months of manufacturer's warranty verified by serial number, and 2 years of liability for the goods' conformity with the contract. You have 14 days from receiving the parcel to return without giving a reason. Note: sealed in-ear headphones cannot be returned once the packaging is opened, for hygiene reasons — details in Complaints and returns.
